Eye See You

After hooking several close up animal rugs, I decided I wanted to hook an "Eye" rug.  I took photos and gathered visuals for several years and while I could clearly see it in my mind, I didn't have the time or talent to develop and draw the pattern.  Enter Leonard Feenan (www.theburningartist.com).  Lenny and I had worked together on a few projects when I asked, and he accepted, the challenge of creating my Eye Rug pattern.   Following are photos which show the journey from the first block of the pattern to the completed rug.  This  rug was a challenge and I learned so much!  What a thrill to be able to see all these animals come to life at the end of my hook.  And......it doesn't stop here.  Eye See You has led to  Eye See You II......one photo is included here, but please go to my Eye See You II page and Lenny's website to see more photos about Eye See You II.  Many thanks to Lenny and the 37 Rug Hooking Teachers who worked together to create this masterpiece. What a journey!
